I work six days a week and won't give up Sunday afternoon, the only time I have off, so I say I informal witness (alone) to get time enough to stay "active"; by doing this I avoid going door-to-door all but maybe twice a year.

Not only do I not want to spread their lies, but also I hate being bothered at home, so I don't want to bother anyone else the same way.

wow, so far 4 out of 4 "worldly" people i've talked to about my situation, actually care.

i mean ive been telling myself that most people would care.

but i can just tell, by the way i feel shocked and surprised at their genuine interest to listen and help, that subconsciously, i still feel like no worldly person cares.

so i've been reading the bible, (for the fist time ever and i was a born in) i stopped going iilike 3 years ago and i wanted to have a good understanding of the bible and not just the wt.

but holy crap that's some 18rated stuff!

i mean i'm still in genesis and it's all vengeance this, condemn that and genocide everything else!

had 2 in my last congro.. 1 was trying sssooo hard to be an m.s we used to say he was brownoseing out (not reaching out) he would allways fall all over the c.o and hang around the elders like the bad smell he was.. another one was an m.s for years and brownoseing out to be an elder....him and his wife kissed every available arse,they used to make me sick when the c.o came around...he finaly made elder only to be removed 3 months latter.. .

I would love to walk up to most of my conned-green-nation and say, "Uh, you have a little somethin' on your nose".

I don't think they notice the brown on their nose because their entire head has always been up an ass (either their own or someone else’s).

Of course this is just more "evidence" that the "holey speared-it" is directing appointments.

Are JW`s really bible based ? Can they really claim that ? In all honesty ?

the religion of jehovah`s witnesses is not bible based , their beleifs are not based on what the bible says.. the bible doesnt keep changing its words , it`s basically the same today as it was centuries ago.. what the jw`s taught quoting a bible scripture in years gone by is not the same thing being taught today using the same scripture and no doubt wont be the same thing taught using the same scriptures in the future.. their beleifs are based on what interpretation the governing body gives scriptures at any given time and every time they re-interpret the scriptures everybody follows suite.the writings of russell,rutherford,knorr,franz,etc bear testimony to that fact.. the bible hasn`t changed but the teachings of jehovah`s witnesses is in a constant state of change.. so at what stage is the religion of jehovah`s witnesses" the truth" ?.

if what they taught yesteryear is not what they teach today then they have never had the truth.. if what they teach today is the truth then they never had it previously.

and one thing you can be certain of what they teach today wont be what they teach in the near future.

What does it matter if they are Bible based or not?

The contemporary Bible is a human composed book of incomplete "inspired" writings.

No religion, group or organization that bases its beliefs on an incomplete doctrine will be true or whole anyway.

i cannot believe how stupid jw are and their reasoning.they miss the point that the lord jesus christ done away with the mosaic law.they live in the o/t of ritualistic practices of worship which is daily sacrifices of killing animals for sins=to wbts practices of going from door to door.that was just a shitty article.. why did the old foggie waste their resources of offering the best fat sheep for their sins.why not obey and not sin,they new the law.i know not to drink and drive so i do not have to pay the price because i obey the law.. and the wt comments like we have make sacrifices and it costs us something for our service to god,ie car,gas effort going from door to door..

I got a crooked car salesman vibe from this article; like you know its’ complete and utter BS but to the sucker it's smooth as velvet.

They surreptitiously down play Jesus propitiatory sacrifice (it cancels out ALL the law) and then naturally peddle submission to their hand picked edicts over obedience to the big J's.

So sleazy I needed a shower afterwards.

Attended 2-Day Circuit Assembly--Highlights

since my spouse is an active elder, i accompany him to sads, cas and das, at least for the time being.

anyway, i thought i'd share some of the more odd/disturbing bits from the latest "sanctify god's name" ca.

there wasn't anything particularly new but the tone toward porn, higher ed, bad assoc, "habitual" murmuring and harmful gossip is definitely hardening, as are the cautions against social networking.
